There Will Never Be Another Movie Like Borat

Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat is probably the most controversial movie made in the 21st century. But at the same time, it’s also considered one of the best comedies. This man mastered the prank far before youtube pranks became popular. Because what makes Borat so unique is that it features real people, who have no idea he is playing a character. He goes extremely far with his humour, often violating social boundaries and taboos. But his jokes went so far that it resulted in tons of lawsuits and the movie getting banned in Kazakhstan. Borat took satire to a whole new level, that’s why I’m gonna show you why there will never be another movie like Borat.

Christopher Nolan is famous for shooting his movies on the grand 70mm Imax format. Since the beginning of his career he has shot every single movie on analog film instead of digital. Not many movies these days are shot on the "old" analog film format because of...

its funny that it needs to be pointed out that Borat was mostly mocking the US, but it probably makes sense from a US perspective. Here i europe it was recognized as satire about the US. Yes, the Kazachstan jokes are there and the village rapist is hilarious, but the true humor is in americans talking to a foreigner like he is retarded because he does not speak fluent english, in them believing every crazy story they made up, because he is from abroad and the fact that they even got some to agree on things that are supposedly superior in the alledged third world country of kazachstan. The movie is genius and it played everyone involved.
